I recently finished my PhD in Learning Science at the University of Tuebingen in Germany. During my PhD, I worked with an interdisciplinary project to investigate under what conditions digital media can enable effective teaching and learning processes. Using primarily student data and profile analysis, I investigated how the addition of tablets may differentially affect student learning depending on students’ cognitive and motivational prerequisites and at home experiences. I have experience working with longitudinal and multilevel data, publishing scholarly work, and previously taught in China and Ecuador. I am looking for research positions in NGOs addressing socio-digital inequalities or ed tech designing technology alongside learning.
