I earned a PhD from UC Berkeley Sociology in 2020 and am now a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Massive Data Institute (MDI) in the McCourt School for Public Policy at Georgetown University. My research applies computational methods to topics of policy relevance, with emphasis on the role of organizations and education in shaping structural inequalities by race and class. I published solo-authored articles in Sociology of Education and Industrial Relations: A Journal of Economy and Society. As a passionate and devoted educator, I’ve also taught numerous data science workshops and 11 courses in sociology, including twice designing and solo-teaching a course on the Sociology of School Choice. I’m looking for tenure-track positions in Sociology, Education, Data Science, or Management & Organizations in New England and the Pacific coast.
